It is very similar to a textbook. I prefer to think of it as a guide because it is focused on the destination not on the journey. Each course is over 100pages and focused solely on what you need to know for the subject. There aren't really any textbooks that are specific to law part 1, so in my opinion this is your best bet.
It almost is. Hosting and domains cost money, and I have spent more hours than I wish to think about working on this project. In the end if I get enough to keep food in my fridge for a few weeks I will be surprised.
No matter how you slice it, you are getting great value for money. I have seen people selling their old notes for more than the cost of this program. A+ exam scripts alone more than make up the value.
At the end of this year, on Christmas Eve, you will get an E-mail from the University of Auckland. At that point there are two outcomes: You either wasted an entire year of your life for nothing or you didn’t.
Think for a second about how either of those outcomes will feel. The choices you make from today will directly determine the content of that email, and for a guide that costs about the same as 3 beers; the answer to that question should be a no-brainer.
Your acceptance to Law Part 2 is based on 2 factors:
No I am a student like you. I did law part one last year and spent countless hours learning irrelevant material or wondering whether my answers were even on the right track. I created this program to make sure that the next year of law one students didn't have to go through that.
I assume that there will be small changes in terms of ordering or provided materials. But I don't believe that such changes will affect the usefulness of this guide.
No. Textbooks have to be published and printed, so they usually cost at least $100. I am a poor student myself; so the last thing I want to do is make other students have to shell out that kind of money. Furthermore, textbooks that I have seen are usually written very generally and can be used in various universities. I only wish to help students who are dealing with the competitive entry at Auckland University.
